The MOF Privacy Policy

The Ministry of Finance respects the privacy of the users of the MOF services pursuant to the Personal Data Protection Act of 10 Mai 2018 (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1000, as subsequently amended). In order to learn more about how we protect the privacy of our users, please take time to get familiar with the information on our privacy policy.

1. By using the MOF services, you are accepting the rules of our privacy policy.

2. The information we get from your use of our services includes:

  • The information collected and stored in our server logs such as the user's search queries, the date and time of the request, browser type, browser language, the operating system type or Internet protocol address uniquely assigned to any computer station linked to the Internet.
  • Cookies, i.e. small text files sent from the Internet service visited by the user to their devices such as a computer or a smartphone.
  • We use cookies to:
    • make it easier for the users to interact with our service as cookies help identify the user's device in order to display the page content tailored to the user's needs.
    • create anonymous service statistics that help us understand better the expectations of our users and improve our services in order to facilitate retrieval of the most frequently requested information (e.g. by analysing the search queries from the browsers).

Although, cookies are allowed by default to be stored on the user's device, the Internauts may manage the cookies themselves e.g. block them by disabling the cookies in the browser. This may cause, however, some of the service features to function incorrectly.

3. The owner of the servers is the Ministry of Finance in Warsaw, 12 Świętokrzyska St. All data stored on the servers are protected in compliance with appropriate information confidentiality, integrity and security measures.

4. We use the data we collect to provide and maintain specific services to our users, as well as for administrative and statistical purposes.

5. In order to safeguard the collected data efficiently, we ensure that the information we hold is adequately protected from unauthorised access by third parties and we review our information collection, storage and processing practices. We restrict access to the data to the MOF employees and external entities who need to know that information in order to process it exclusively for the purposes stipulated in our privacy policy.

6. The MOF is not responsible for the privacy policies of other websites linked from the MOF services and we recommend that you familiarise yourself with the privacy policy applicable to the site you link with.

7. In case of any changes in our privacy policy, it will be updated and posted immediately on this page.
