e-Applications

The service allows the traders to prepare and apply for relevant authorisations online and the customs service staff to process them and carry out administrative, taxation and customs proceedings electronically in compliance with applicable legal requirements, especially General Tax Act dealing with general tax rules and procedures.

The implementation of the service has been staggered over time and divided into phases which, in total, will deliver several dozen online application forms for traders.

Currently, available for use are the following application forms:

  • to grant, modify or revoke the general security to ensure payment of a customs debt,
  • to grant, modify or revoke authorization to defer the payment of customs duties,
  • to grant, modify or revoke authorization to use a comprehensive guarantee for the consignment of goods under Common/Community transit procedure,
  • to grant, modify or revoke authorization to waive a comprehensive guarantee for the consignment of goods under Common/Community transit procedure,
  • to grant, modify or revoke authorized consignor status and authorized consignee status under Common/Community transit procedure and TIR/CIM procedure,
  • to grant, modify or revoke authorization to use TIR procedure,
  • to grant, modify or revoke authorization to use the T2L document by the authorized consignor to prove the Community status of the goods without presenting them to customs,
  • to grant, modify or revoke authorization to establish a regular shipping line.

It should be noted that e-Application online service remains an alternative to the traditional paper-based mode of applying for and issuing authorisations.

A trader can choose whether they would like to apply for and receive the documents online or in a traditional paper form. However, once the application is submitted online, the trader should continue to communicate with the customs electronically and should not lodge a paper application form in the same matter.
